Our History

Ebi School Leavers Initiative was established in 2011 to empower Nigerian youth with skills to make them financially self-sufficient. We have visited 6 government schools in the past seven years and trained over 500 students. Our available courses have increased from three to eight and these courses are still taught by volunteers. Through our partners, some of our graduates received placement to complete internships.

Where we are going

In 2017, we are training over a hundred graduates of Gbagada  Senior High School. We would also like to expand our services to encompass fee paying private schools to ensure ESLI’s financial viability over time. We hope to raise enough funds to establish our first physical vocational centre by 2021.

How you can help

There are several ways to help.
1.    Donate to sponsor the training of students
2.    Volunteer if you have a transferrable skill with affordable tools of trade
3.    Volunteer to accept interns to your business
4.    Invite us to your private school for a presentation to parents
